In June 1984, Mark Staskal, 43, stabbed his 16-year-old sister to death in the basement of their parent’s home. He told officials he had plans to kill his parents and former classmates. He was found guilty, but ruled to have a mental defect for the first degree homicide. Since 1984, he has lived at the Mendota Mental Health Facility.
Staskal stabbed his sister several times before the knife broke. He came back with a new knife that he sharpened and continued to stab her more than a dozen times.
His own parents have protested his release and hired their own the forensic psychiatrist, who told the court he didn’t believe Staskal was ready for release.
His mother said “He is obsessed with getting out, not getting better,” she continued. “I would love to see my son living a normal life. I would love to have a daughter-in-law and grandchildren, but I don’t want to see anyone die like my daughter did and that’s a possibility.”

We live next to them everyday! Where I live we have a state run facility where the crazy murders and rapist go! No walls, No fences and they take weekly trips to Wal-Mart! There have been a few that have run off, and one hit the maintenance man in the head with a hammer a couple of times. He lived. But we can’t lock them up, because that would violate their civil rights, they are too nuts to understand!!

C’mon, he is obviously just sponging off the government. He needs to pull himself up by his bootstraps. He’s just gotten lazy being on those crazy liberal social programs. He hasn’t killed anyone in like, twenty some years, he’s FINE. The market will provide a remedy to his issues. We are wasting perfectly good money on his housing and mental treatment that could be going to make million dollar smart bombs to blow up caves and orphanages full of brown people.

I think we should take up a collection and rent a place next door to MrNiceGu. I don’t think facilities actually do anything to rehabilitate mentally ill people. They just let them out after so long. They have kept them drugged, so of course, they seem better. I would not feel safe living beside him.

Wow, it sounds like it’s time to put some bars on the windows, and get a couple of Rottweilers. Keep 911 on speed dial.It is beyond me how they can let people like that back into the world.
