well, i recently found a chatroom thing for teens with depression, but its new so there are only a few people signed up. I have been dealing with depression and anxiety for about 3 years now and i have searched for an online chatroom for teens to talk about this kind of thing and i found nothing. But then i answered a question and a girl had made one, so i signed up. So far there hasn’t been anyone on there, but im trying to get the word out about it because i think it could help some teens.

Sometimes it’s pretty hard to sort through all the resources out there. Here are some ideas for you:

    Helpguide - http://www.helpguide.org/index.htm
    Chemically Dependent Anonymous - http://www.cdaweb.org/index.html
National Mental Health Association - http://www.nmha.org/
    Above the Influence - http://www.abovetheinfluence.com/
Alcohol and Drug Helpline - 1-800-821-4357
    Alcohol / Drug Abuse Hotline - 1-800-ALCOHOL

If you call Boys Town’s hotline, we’d be happy to listen and give you some more referrals and advice. We’re 24/7.
