Your doctor should know this or any pharmacist. I have never heard anyone mention taking antidepressants in liquid form but that does not mean that there are none.
I also never heard of a phobia about swallowing pills. My daughter could not swallow pills when she was young and her pediatrician suggested that she try practicing on M&M’s since if she could not swallow them the first go round they would not taste bad as most pills do if they are in your mouth while you repeatedly swallow them. She was ecstatic when she finally learned how. Wish this was your problem rather than being afraid of them - you might try it.

Explain your problems with pills and ask your doctor whether there is another form of medication in liquid form that you could take. The meds certainly won’t do you any good if they do not get into your system and if you are not swallowing them you can’t benefit from them.
    Good luck to you.
I have taken antidepressants for a few years - probably will for the rest of my life, and they work well for me, but I can swallow pills without any problem so I swallow mine every day as prescribed.

i have suffered from mental health issues my whole life. ive been on every medication you can think of. ultimately, whats been sort of working for me is knowledge. i watch a movie called what the bleep do we know. i look up questions on the internet .
i still am a bit agoraphobic, i still am depressed. but its better. you are not alone. counseling works for some. not for me, but that’s ok. as long as you know you’re not alone . you can feel better. belief is a amazing tool. not so much religious wise i mean, but what you believe deep down inside is powerful. you can change , you can be what you want to be. even if its as simple as being happy. some day you will be happy , feel balance, feel …good. i know you will. i know we will. good luck.

This is what works for me:

    1. Try Byron Katie’s "The Work"

    2. Read Patrick Holford’s "Low GL Diet" - this discusses how blood sugar imbalances can create a tendency towards depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, drowsiness after meals, cravings for sweet things and mood swings. Take your fish oils.
