Does anyone here do their own therapy with autistic children at home?

My child is almost four and is autistic. I homeschool him. Because of lack of services where I live, except through the school district, I do my own therapy with him, and he is improving. But, I’m looking for ideas, especially for free online info on speech therapy or behavior therapy. I am currently using supplements from Melaleuca that are doing wonders, but I need more ideas for therapy, too, to get him further ahead.

Go to http://www.gval.com - they have some interesting articles about autism and talk about Vitamin A being able to cure it. Or go to http://www.autismcoach.com

I work with some people with Autism. What we do is constantly and consistantly remind the person what is and isnt acceptable behavior ..redirect them when it begins if we can. Speech…we identify things and encourage the person to say it outloud.Reading books, playing leap pad games, repeating….and repeating words
