Does insurance cover a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist for a learning disability?

Does insurance cover a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist for a learning disability?
psychiatrist (MD+Residency in Psychiatry — now mostly bio-chemical and drugs that work on imbalances) or clinical psychologist (PhD in Psychology — often ‘talk therapy’) .

I believe I have ADD or ADHD… and I want to see a psychiatrist or a clinical psychologist…. to see if I have it and get some treatment, But I don’t have much money. are they expensive? How much to see if you have ADD or ADHD? do most insurance cover it?

It depends a WAY LOT, if you are an adult, or a child, AND which state you live in. Treatment for ADD consists of drugs.

It depends on the specific insurance policy.

There is no way for us to know what specific coverage is provided by your insurance.
