Graduating High School, Need career Advice?
I am looking in which career to pursue once I graduate. I am trying to find a job that both interests me on a personal level and has a good starting out salary.
I am between the Medical field of Psychiatry, some sort of engineering field or Computer science/programming.
Anyone who is in these fields or another field similar to my choices, What is your job like? How good and stable is the job market? How competitive is the job market and are jobs in high demand? Is the pay good? etc etc.
Also how closely do people after High School look at your High school grades. I had straight A’s up until the last 2 years of high school when I started going through a lot pf personal thing sand had to move homes 4 times so my grades dropped down to D’s and C’s and this has always really worried me.
Also any other good careers that are in high demand that actually make good money please list.
Thank You

Don’t worry about the grades you made. Just focus and work hard in college. The challenge you’ll face is that the things that interest you are great areas but you’ll have to work hard to succeed. Psychiatry is a 10 to 15 year process because you’ll have to go through all the sciences; get through med school and then focus on this specific path. Computer Science is great if you’re really interested in the area and you have an area of interest within this general subject matter. The engineering field is a solid choice if you excel and enjoy math and it tends to have a good job market but that depends on the area in engineering you focus on. The job market in all these areas (other than medicine) tend to fluctuate and it really just depends on if you like the subject. A well paying area if you like science is dentistry or optometry because they aren’t quite as hard as medicine but lots of opportunities and great money.
