This is an interesting question because there are different licensing laws in each state and in some cases counties. Most states require a certain amount of credit hours from an accredited school. Some of these credit hours require supervised hands on clinic work. If there is an online massage therapy program available, I would look into its credentials and accredidations. I am currently a massage therapy student and I can’t see how you could go to school online and have the skills to make massage therapy a career.
