How effective is brief psychodynamic psychotherapy for SA?

I’ve been seeing a humanistic therapist for nearly a month now and have seen very little progress. I need a more directive approach, however please don’t suggest CBT because I haven’t experienced much progress with that either.

I would say that you need someone who specializes in cognitive therapy. (I’ve been in therapy before myself.) My niece who suffered severe anxiety attacks (she never left her house for months except to see this doctor) found a doctor who used cognitive behavioral therapy. She swears by it. Google "cognitive therapy" to find out more info about this very successful approach to dealing with anxiety.
