Even your college major doesn’t have to be a science. In fact, many med schools are looking for the well rounded background of many social science or liberal arts majors. As a practical matter, you need so many science classes before you apply to med school that most people major in a science, in reality you will stand out with a "different" major.

I’ve never heard of a high school having majors before. In college, you’ll probably want to major in psychology while taking the premed courses in bio, chem, physics and math to prepare for medical school. Does changing your high school ‘major’ change the courses you’re taking? Because if you do want to go to med school, you want to show the colleges you’re capable of doing the work by taking as many advanced courses as you can handle.
