I need help deciding on a minor…?
I want to be a Forensic Psychiatrist and get a MD/JD so I will obviously be going to medical school (and then the first two years of law school for the JD). Therefore I will be in the pre-med program.
I will be double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Which minor should I choose from the following list? I’m having a hard time deciding.
1. Women’s Studies
2. Ethnic Studies
3. Forensic Investigation
4. Sociology
5. Biology
If there is a different minor that you think I should consider please let me know.

Biology.
This is for the convenience of it fulfilling your pre-requesite requirements. Also, because your major is less science based, having a science minor will show that you are a well rounded person.
You may also want to consider Chemistry as a minor for the same reason.

Think about it. Would you have time for a double major in criminal justice and psychology, a minor in women’s studies (or any other non science field) AND your premed classes (which includes 4 semesters of chemistry and which must be completed before you take the MCAT)? You don’t have to have a science minor to get into medical school, but if you are just a few classes away from completing one after you finish your premed classes, then go for it.
I recommend you focus more on preparing for medical school (which has a set of required classes) than law school (which doesn’t have a set of required classes).
