Is becoming a psychiatrist worth all the money and years of studying?

I’m thinking of becoming a psychiatrist but the thought of 4 years in university, 4 years in med school and another 4 in residency makes me think its not worth it. I’ll be 30 years old by the time I get the job (And its not guarantee) and the thought of all the money I’ll be spending makes me not wanna become one. Is it worth it? Or should I go with being a forensic pathologist?
