Is pre-med horrible?





I want to go to pre med school and med school so i can pursue psychiatry. is it really difficult? do only some schools offer this?

also, by the time i can practice psychiatry, ill be about 30 because of all the schooling. is it possible to have a job before then?

    Of course not. If you want to be a doctor, by all means, be one.

    Psychiatry? Wellllll—- someone has to do that job I guess. Not everyone wants to be a surgeon or pediatrician.

    If you do not mind having NO social life. Then no it is fine. But it does suck if you have a social life. You will lose it. And if you are doing full time, well I have to leave my job.

    Before 30 you will be able to get jobs as a resident as well as intern, or assisting. If this is your passion go for it, though it won’t be an easy stroll.
