Psychiaty is a field of medicine. Medical "doctors" study medicine and then they decide(or take exams, it depend on the coutry) which field they will be focused on, being a surgeon, being a oculist etc. Like being a surgeon, you can be a psychiatrist by studying psychiatry after you study medicine.

To be a psychologisr you just study graduate programme in college and then you do master degree and then you can have your own clinic.

But for Psychiatrists, you generally work in hospitals, you learn about drugs to cure people.

Psychologists talk to people, listen to them and try to find a solution.
Psychiatrists DO NOT sit and talk to people, they examine people, determine the name of illness and give drugs. totally a doctor.

Money are similar. Psychologists are having more fun cuz they are interested in people. Psychiatry is more interested in theories and technical stuff and diagnosis .

It would be marriage psychologist. The different between psychologists and psychatrists are that psychatrists are the only ones who can prescribe medicine. A psychologist usually performs tests and evaluates or counsels them however psycatrists can do the same.
