Psychiatry or Psychology?
[going to keep this short & simple......]
I plan on majoring in one of those but which one? I’m going to send in my college application in a few weeks but still debating on what to major in! I want to work with children and teens. I plan on going to grad school and get my PhD. I would love to be a doctor but i’ve wanted to just have my own office helping kids. I want to go to Med school then again I don’t. Really is confusing!! I know alot more about psychology. I’ve been studying it for awhile! Med or the Psych? To me, Psychiatry is just shoving some pills down someone throat. Psychology, your able to attually help someone and gain a reationship. So what. Med or Psych??

For me personally, I enjoy psychology. I am a psychotherapist and the work is awesome. Very rewarding career. But, if you want to get into the medical aspects then yeah, psychiatry would be the way to go.

i think you’ve just answered your question you just want confirmation. ask confirmation from the people who matters to you, coz whatever we say in here will not be very significant.
