2 The RCMAS is a self-report of anxiety used with children. Scores range from 0–28, with higher scores indicating more severe anxiety
3 These data are from a self-report of self-efficacy in anxiety provoking sitations used with children. Scores range from 0–10 with higher scores indicating more self-efficacy.
4 These data are from a self-report of depression used with children. Scores range from 0–10 with higher scores indicating more severe depression.
5 Recovery was defined as a decrease to a score of less than 5 on the RCMAS at posttreatment or follow-up.FU-Self-efficacy3Pre-Depression4

First can someone help me with this questionAnxiety disorders are the most commonly diagnosed disorder in children and adolescents. Fortunately, recent research suggests many youth with anxiety disorders can be treated using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). In the past, anxiety disorders were traditionally treated with either psychodynamic therapy or a supportive type of therapy (a therapy offering encouragement and empathy but is not really driven by any particular theory of psychotherapy). Therefore, it is important to know how CBT compares to these types of treatments.
In the final project, you will write a research report addressing this and related questions. In order to write the report, you will use a small dataset to conduct the descriptive and inferential analyses. You will be writing the various sections of this report, such as the results section, a brief discussion section.
, T-Tests
Choose and calculate the appropriate analysis to compare the anxiety levels of the participants in the CBT treatment to those in the psychodynamic treatment using posttest scores only.
Choose and calculate the appropriate analysis to compare the anxiety levels of participants in the CBT group only at pre- and posttest.
Please someone walk me through this so I can get this. I am very confused and I hope and know someone here can do this with no problem Thanks

The truth is, this is a very complicated question that really requires a tutor to be answered in depth. Either that, or it needs to be broken down into a lot of smaller questions. As for how to approach T-tests, the general method is to first understand how to formulate a "Null Hypothesis", that is, a statement of the form "There is no difference between…". Once done, a test statistic is derived that one would expect to be the same between the two groups under comparison (assuming the Null Hypothesis is true). Then a threshold value is chosed (e.g. 5%) to decide when the null hypothesis will be rejected. Then the test statistics are calculated for each group, and the comparison made, resulting in either rejection or failure to reject to the null hypothesis.
