Will insurance cover eating disorder treatments outside their own?

I went to my primary physician a couple of years ago, and he recommended me to the "group" sessions Kaiser Permanente offers. It has proved to be useless, and did not help me at all. I’m looking at other treatment options (individual psychotherapy/cognitive behavior therapy) outside my insurance…Will it cover at least some of it?

I REALLY need help PLEASE!! Anyone know where I can find free online therapy?
