I’ve read about this and I know you need to take exams but let’s say you are quite a senior doctor who’s specialised in Psychiatry and is a consultant (basically top of your field - 8+ years out of med school).. Would they still expect you to do the exams?

I was thinking of attending the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine far off into the future because of its 3 year accelerated med school program and I was just wondering.

I want to put out my interests.
I find learning how the human brain works and how certain drugs can affect when prescribed or how someone with a disorder acts compared to someone without it.
Is that along the lines of psychiatry or pharmacy?
