i was wondering if its possible to become a sports med physician after getting a DPT in physical therapy or do you have to have a MD to do so?

because of the match system?
and what about if that student hates everything else but psychiatry? he will end up doing for example: Internal Medicine, dermatology, the rest of his life??? unhappy???

Like say for instance I wanted to take fellowships in consultation liason psychiatry(now called psychosomatic medicine) and forensic psychiatry.Could I replace my PGY4 with one of these actual fellowships If I emphasize the fact that I don’t want to be a general psychiatrist,but one who specializes?
