One of the functions of dreaming is the brain dealing with
unresolved issues in a person’s life. And, some things can
never be resolved, eg. the death of a loved one, the loss of
a close friend who moves, the betrayal of someone close.
We are a closed system, meaning we can’t bury anything
to where nothing ever comes of it, where it can never
bother us again. I have a belief, not sure how sound,
though, that denial will become the grist for dreams.
Even babies, even dogs and rabbits dream!! I’ve seen
my dogs when I used to have them ‘chase’ something,
twitching their legs, muffled ‘barking’, and yet they
were ’sleeping’. The brain often works on things.
This is a huge topic, though, and I’d recommend you
hone in on some specific area you find the most
meaningful to you personally, or you will not
be able to say much about anything. There will
be loads of info. online. Try ezinearticles.com.
