What are a few career suggestions for myself?
I’ve been thinking about what I want to do after high school, and can’t seem to set my focus on one thing.
I like helping others, but not as a doctor or firefighter etc. I have interest and am pretty good in English, History, and Science.
I’ve been thinking about psychiatry, therapy, or maybe forensic work.
Anything else you can think of? I’m just weighing my options.

I understand that you are currently in High school and this is the best time to think about what you would like to take up as a career. From the background you gave me you seem to have potential to work as a psychologist, social worker or related fields. Since you suggested psychiatry, you should understand that you will need to be a doctor to be a psychiatrist. Psychology on the other hand is a specific course on its own. You could also do something more specific like for example: Child Psychology. If you think you can handle children better than adults, this will be a good option as there are a lot of opportunities in this field today.
Once you decide on your field of interest, your next step would be to make a resume/CV and apply to the universities you would like to pursue your studies at. If you are sure at this stage that you want to do a post graduation, you can even look at courses that offer a sandwich program where you can finish your masters as well. To get into a good school, you must ensure you have the minimum GPA and a good CV that will impress them.

Your school should have guidance counselors - these people are trained to help students with decisions such as yours :]

Prepare a list of ALL options you are interested. Churn your mind. Spill your guts and just write in the notepad. Spend at least 30 Min. After that give them priority depending upon your likes and dislikes. Better give them ranking from 1 to 5.
I am sure by this exercise you will come out with something more productive results YOU LOVE TO WORK.
