What are some classes or colleges that help with the study if psychiatry?
I am a junior in high school and i have to begin looking at colleges. I already know that i would like to follow in a career as a psychiatrist. If anyone has any classes or colleges that i should take a look at or consider, your opinions would be much appreciated.

If the field is actually psychiatry, you should attend a school that has a good "premed" program. Psychiatrists are Medical Doctors first who specialize/complete their residency in Psychiatry.
If you don’t want to go that route you can study to become a Psychologist. A Psychologist is a trained therapist and is also a doctor. They are not however medical doctors. As far as the school you would like to attend, I would need to know where you live (state?) and how much $$$ you have to spend for college.
You are probably better off going to a local state school if you don’t have a lot of extra cash on hand. You could also try to get scholarships and grants.
