I would think you would need an actual classroom setting for something like massage therapy. That is a "hands on" field & probably not something you can fully learn online.
I know I wouldn’t want to go to a masseuse that only learned online.
I don’t think that exists. Massage therapy is (literally) a hands-on profession, which requires lots of hands-on training. Learning massage therapy by reading a computer screen would be like learning carpentry without ever touching a hammer.
There is none. Massage therapy - or any form of physical therapy, for that matter - is a hands-on skill. As such, it must be taught in a physical location so that technique and response can be observed.
As a perfect example of why that is, my friend picked up a book on massage 2 years ago. She asked me if I wanted a massage, so I agreed, since she was supposed to be experienced.
Sit back and think about that question for a second. Would you want a massage therapist that did their studies online? You can’t learn something where your hands are on people over the computer.
I go to massage therapy school and it just is not possible to do online. You have to log a certain amount of hours in order to be able to pass the class never mind take the national boards in your area. Also they can’t monitor your technique if they don’t see it. It’s a hard but rewarding trade if you really are interested in taking the classes I suggest you find a local school and study hard, it includes a lot of anatomy knowledge! Good luck in whatever you choose. If you have any questions about it just let me know.
There are few massage therapy schools and you can find them listed in Massage Register site. You can search for your zip/state and there are online schools listed based on your search.

No such thing. Getting a license requires an accredited school. States mandate the hours in the curriculum, so many classroom hours on the culture and history of massage, ethics, business, anatomy and physiology and hands on. Massage is not something you can learn from the computer, if you are talking about becoming licensed and doing it legally.
