Why do Conservatives keep saying that Ft Hood was a terrorist attack?
The experts are divided on this.
Michael Welner, M.D., a leading forensic psychiatrist with experience examining mass shooters, said that the shooting had elements common to both ideological and workplace mass shootings.
An analyst of terror investigations, Carl Tobias, opined that the attack did not fit the profile of terrorism, and was more reminiscent of the Virginia Tech shooting.

It was a religously motivated terrorist attack, much like 9/11, WTC in ‘93, the Fort Dix Six, the bombing of the USS Cole, etc…
This sorry excuse for a human being was sent into our military to do damage. In our ever-counterproductive efforts to be PC, this man was given a pass on his questionable background and associations.
Plainly stated, it is the second greatest failure associated with Affirmative Action in US History.

I see your point, and I agree that it did have some characteristics of workplace shootings, but I would still call it a terrorist attack. The man was Muslim and he shot up a military base.
Even if he were not a muslim, since we are at war, I would call anyone shooting up a military facility terrorism. I don’t see what politics has to do with it. Just my opinion.

he didn’t want to deploy to a war in a muslim country…because he is a muslim……he’d have been happy to go to germany i expect

I’m not a conservative and it seems apparently very obvious to me that was a terrorist attack. You are just upset because you lie at some posts that there has been no terrorist attacks since Obummer has been in office. That’s just not true. We have had many. The liberal news media either calls it something else or ignores it altogether. i.e. Arizona Mexico border is being attacked by terrorists daily. How about the failed attempts recently with the plane and the car bomb. They were caught after they failed. We got very lucky that the recent terrorist screwed up. They were still attacks.

The screaming of "allah akbar" was the tip-off or the many e-mails to that skinny sheik living in Yemen that even the Times Square TERRORIST was contacting would have convinced me but, then, I don’t have an "agenda" either way! I suppose the people he killed don’t care either way about the semantics of "why", just that "he did"… I’m still trying to figure out why MSM (even Fox News) calls AZ illegal immigration legislation an "immigration bill".
