Years back in a place called baytown texas,Halloween of 1986 to be precise , a little girl named Mary Stiles?
Dissapeared while trick or treating,following that the local newspaper "The Baytown Sun" began to recieve Zodiac style letters from a person calling themself "The Madman" telling them to print bizzare things in their around town column like "Anubis went for a walk" or he would kill again ,simultaneously taking credit for the little girls death including drawing a map to where he buried her buried her body,the police found her of course,eventualy they arrested a high school student named Joe Fordham , he was tried and convicted ,but I remember his sentance was a slap on the wrist , so what I want to know is: is this guy still in jail or out? The forensic Psychiatrist on this case said this guy has potential to be one of the worst serial killers ever!!!
I am thinking of writing a book in the Ann Rule style on this , I knew people who knew this guy,and met Mary’s sister later on,what they don’t tell you in that article is that this guy kept her body under his bed for a time before he buried it. I would REALY like to know EXACTLY where this guy is NOW, I am thinking I want to interview him for my book.

In 1994, prison overcrowding won Fordham a mandatory supervision release. But in July 1998, the parole was revoked after he moved to Indiana without permission and failed to report to his parole officer for three months. As a result, the then 29-year-old landed back in prison in the Ramsey II Unit in Rosharon.
At this time, Fordham remains behind bars at the Vance Unit in Richmond.

I think she was murdered in 1985 if I remember correctly. The only reason his sentence was so short was because he witnessed his grandfather and some other family member get shot when he was younger. Not that it makes it right but it screwed with his head for sure. I think he was released in 98 but then went back to prison for something and I am pretty sure he was let out again last year or he will be let out this year. I’m from around Baytown so I kind of remember this, I was pretty young though.
